All the web traffic at MySpace has generated a lot of big mainstream media interest and Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp has pulled out their fat wallet and bought MySpace. I’m not sure that Rupert and company get MySpace or online communities. They are claiming that MySpace is going to turn News Corp “from a content company into a marketing company.” I think as soon as MySpace users figure out they are being used they will move on to the next big thing.
