So, the US was knocked out of the World Cup in the first round and now we are about to discover who will play Italy in the finals (either France or Portugal). Even if you can catch the game live on TV, you might want to keep up with them on the match tracker either on ESPN’s Soccernet website or the official FIFA Worldcup website. Both of the sites offer live text play by play and commentary along with live statistics through out the game. If you can’t get to a TV during the games, the matchtracker does provide an adequate fill-in to let you know what is going on.
How often do you use more than one type of media at once? Do you surf the web or chat and watch TV or listen to the radio at the same time? How often is your usage of both forms of media related to the same subject, like how I watch the World Cup? Many TV networks are adding related websites where you can follow along live online, especially during sporting events and reality tv shows.
