Do you ever feel out of touch with the real world? Sometimes that may be a good thing when you live in small town Arkansas it can be an all the time thing. One thing you can try to get in touch with the rest of the world is to see what people are reading.
- Amazon’s Purchase Circles let you search by state, government entity, company or organization and see what people are buying to read.
- Yahoo!’s Buzz Index lets you see what people are searching for on Yahoo! and breaks it down by categories and demographics.
- Google’s Zeitgeist doesn’t break it down into categories like Yahoo!, but they do have historical lists by to 2001 available.
