Last month I had a couple of posts about people who had been fired over what they wrote in their blog. InformationWeek takes the thought a step further in their cover story this week asking Who owns your weblog? The article is a pretty good read takes a look at some large corporations policy on blogging (or lack of policies) including GM, HP, Microsoft and Google.
The article opens with an anecdote of a Google employee who posted too much company information on the blog and was asked to remove it by Google. Informationweek reports that after this story was published this employee is no longer with Google– right now that’s all we know.
